Pastor Mark Bedford

Rev. Mark Bedford was born in Texas and grew up in Arkansas. He attended McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. That’s also where he met his wife, Rev. Beth Hamilton, the pastor of First Presbyterian Church of South Sioux City, Nebraska.
After years working in churches in Illinois and Wisconsin, Mark was ordained to ministry in 2009 and became the pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Sioux City in 2021. He has written and taught the classes “Bible 101 – The Basics,” “Movie Heroes and Villains and Biblical Ethics,” and “The Meaning of Religious Humor”.
Mark and Beth have two adult daughters who live in the western U.S. They live with a cocker spaniel and a cat, who are not spoiled at all.
