Music has long played an important role in the life First Presbyterian Church (FPC). Our worship is rich in congregational singing in the form of hymns, psalms, and responses. Our Church Choir, Children’s Choirs and Hand-Bell Choir enhance our liturgies with choral music written by composers from the 16th Century to the present day, and our services typically begin and end with organ masterworks offered on our magnificent pipe organ.
First Presbyterian has sponsored a concert series – the Sioux City Chamber Music Society – which presents concerts in our inviting and acoustically superb sanctuary.
